Everything seems OK accroding to your guides but, i still see "NO DATA" in my AV Receiver (Marantz SR4300) neither by SPDIF nor by TOSLINK. I have a similar problem which may or may not be related. I have an RPI2 Model B 1GB with Hifiberry Digi+ with transformer which is connected using a coaxial cable to the DAC input of my AV amp. I know that the cable and DAC are capable of playing 24/192 FLAC files from my Simple Audio Roomplayer+. The AV receiver may seems the obvious choice even in 2.0 but that’s a waste of money comparing ot a good hifi receiver. Not sure how much more the AV Receiver would be, but it clearly would be the future proofed solution.
